Allegory

Allegory is the first bar to blend art, literature, social good, craft cocktails, and hospitality, located behind an unmarked door within Eaton DC's Progress Library. The venue showcases monumental artwork by Erik Thor Sandberg that reinterprets Lewis Carroll's classic tales through the perspective of civil rights pioneer Ruby Bridges. Led by Creative Director Deke Dunne, experienced mixologists craft innovative cocktail interpretations using advanced culinary and molecular techniques. Operating on a walk-in, first-come-first-served basis with capacity limited to eight guests per party, Allegory offers a unique drinking experience that merges artistic vision with craft mixology in a culturally significant setting.
