Alquímico stands as one of the world's leading cocktail establishments, ranked 11th in The World's 50 Best Bars 2025, showcasing Colombia's agricultural biodiversity within a historic mansion in Cartagena's Old City. Designed by French-Vietnamese owner Jean Trinh, the venue spans three floors, each featuring a distinct cocktail concept: the ground floor celebrates local ingredients, the first floor offers classic cocktails with Colombian twists, and the rooftop terrace pays homage to ingredients from the owner's estate. Signature drinks incorporate lulo, viche, chontaduro, and house-made meads, while the food menu features Colombian-inspired dishes from skewers to seafood. The bar opens daily at 6 PM on a walk-in basis from its Centro location.
