Archie Rose Distilling Co. is Sydney's first independent distillery in over 160 years, located in Rosebery and opened in 2015. The striking bar and cellar door space combines copper, steel, oak, and concrete to create an industrial-chic atmosphere, positioned just metres from the original distillery with whisky casks lining the walls. The venue features world-class cocktails crafted by expert bartenders using the distillery's full range of spirits including gin, vodka, and whisky, alongside curated selections of craft beers, award-winning wines, and local producer foods. The space spans two levels—a ground floor bar and mezzanine—and offers masterclasses in gin, whisky, and cocktail-making, earning the title of World's Best Visitor Attraction at the 2024 Icons of Gin awards.
