Bar Boia, established in 1946, is a storied cocktail bar overlooking the Mediterranean in Cadaqués, historically frequented by cultural luminaries such as Salvador Dalí and Gabriel García Márquez. Transformed into Coctelería Boia Nit in 2012 under the direction of mixologist Manel Vehí, the venue became celebrated for its award-winning, sophisticated cocktails crafted using advanced culinary techniques including foams and textured elements, with a collection exceeding 150 creations. Its prime waterfront location provided two terraces with stunning Mediterranean vistas, making it a significant destination in Catalan cocktail culture, though it permanently closed in January 2025.
