Bar Liguria

Bar Liguria is an institution in Santiago's bohemian Lastarria neighborhood, established in 1990 in the historic Casa Valdés Freire, a 1906 building designed by architect Alberto Cruz Montt. Spanning three levels across 1,800 square meters, the venue showcases nostalgic Chilean decor featuring vintage imagery and memorabilia of iconic figures alongside local cultural references. The bar is celebrated for the Jarra de Borgoña, a traditional Chilean cocktail of red wine, strawberries, and sugar, alongside authentic national gastronomy including corn cake, osobuco, and grilled dishes. The timeless ambiance and showcase of Chilean culinary heritage have endeared it to Santiago's cultural scene for over three decades.
