Barbarossa Lounge occupies a historic North Beach location that survived the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and once served as a 19th-century jailhouse, now blending Barbary Coast atmosphere with modern luxury. The cocktail program features seasonally rotating drinks named after famous figures from that era, led by mixologist Alec Vlastnic, alongside one of the Bay Area's most curated champagne collections. The food menu offers simple, reasonably priced shareable plates inspired by 19th-century categories including a raw bar, seasonal vegetables, artisanal cheeses, and desserts. Tuesday–Wednesday 5–10 PM, Thursday–Friday 5 PM–2 AM, Saturday 6 PM–2 AM; closed Sunday–Monday.
