Before + After is a refined 32-seat cocktail lounge tucked down an unassuming laneway off George Street in Brisbane's CBD. Born from a passion for aperitifs and digestifs, the bar opens daily at 4 PM, featuring two distinct menus: light, seasonal 'Before' cocktails using native Australian ingredients, and sophisticated 'After' digestif selections from a curated collection of 45 amari—15 of which are vintage expressions from Italy, Scotland, and Australia. The semi-subterranean space channels intimate comfort with deep couches and mood lighting, complemented by retro amaro posters and a carefully selected menu of bar snacks. Since opening in August 2022, it has become Brisbane's destination for exploring the art of pre- and post-dinner indulgence.
