Bitter & Pour

Bitter & Pour is a subterranean speakeasy housed in the Merchant Exchange building at 18 Third Street Southwest in downtown Rochester, Minnesota, created by four friends dedicated to serving the finest spirits and elixirs. The detail-obsessive cocktail program features new menu items introduced weekly and complete menu overhauls several times yearly to ensure fresh offerings. In addition to the main bar, the venue features a high-energy rooftop escape with signature cocktails on tap, frozen creations, wine and beer served alongside skyline views and vibrant atmosphere. Open daily (except Sundays) from 4 p.m. to midnight with free downtown parking after 5 p.m. and weekends, Bitter & Pour functions as both a community hub and event venue. The bar's motto—"Don't be bitter. Be better"—reflects its commitment to quality and hospitality in Rochester's downtown revitalization.
