Congress Street Up

Congress Street Up is a 1920s-themed speakeasy bar located upstairs at 220 Congress Street in Savannah's City Market area, part of the American Prohibition Museum experience that captures the essence of Prohibition-era nightlife. The venue features costumed bartenders, period ambiance with wooden and brick back bars, and era-appropriate music that transports guests back in time. The bar specializes in Prohibition-era inspired cocktails including classics such as the Gin Rickey, French 75, and Daiquiri, along with wines, beers, and non-alcoholic mocktails that connect to historical context from the 1920s. Certified bartenders offer cocktail classes, and the venue accommodates private events. Hours are Monday through Wednesday 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday 6:30 p.m. to midnight for ages 21 and older.
