Drastic Measures is a James Beard Award-nominated cocktail lounge in Shawnee, Kansas, set in a thoughtfully renovated space featuring mathematically-inspired handcrafted light fixtures and a ruler-covered countertop that plays on the bar's name. Co-founded by Jill Cockson of Swordfish Tom's and Kansas City natives Jay Sanders and Derick and Shelley Shackelford, the intimate venue deliberately excludes beer and wine to focus exclusively on craft cocktails.
