Equipment Room

Equipment Room is a basement cocktail bar inspired by Japanese vinyl kissas, located beneath Hotel Magdalena on Music Lane in downtown Austin. The intimate venue features a handpicked collection of approximately 1,200 LPs played through professional-grade hi-fi equipment, creating a sophisticated 1960s-inspired atmosphere. Cocktails are expertly crafted at $18 each, complemented by Japanese-inspired snacks and charcuterie offerings. The small venue encourages reservations and operates Tuesday through Thursday 5pm–midnight and Friday–Saturday 5pm–2am, closed Sundays and Mondays.
