Experimental Cocktail Club is an atmospheric 1920s-style speakeasy hidden within a historic townhouse in London's Chinatown, recognised as the first cocktail bar opened outside Paris by the Experimental Group hospitality collective. The intimate two-floor space, redesigned by Dorothée Meilichzon, blends cinematic interiors with an eclectic soundscape ranging from live acoustic sets to vinyl-inspired Sundays and deep house. The cocktail program features signature creations and classic offerings including a smashed olive martini and old Cuban, complemented by vintage spirits from the 1950s-1980s. Following a complete reimagining, the bar recently reopened after fifteen years, maintaining its role as a celebrated London drinking hub where ambiance, craftsmanship, and curated spirits create a distinctive, immersive experience rooted in speakeasy tradition.
