Foreign National was a distinctive 28-seat Capitol Hill bar and restaurant celebrated for its expat-bar meets Saigon speakeasy aesthetic, featuring a large mosaic disco ball and tiki-inspired décor. The artsy venue operated from 2016 to 2025, serving creative cocktails such as the expat punch with passionfruit and rooibos alongside Vietnamese cuisine offerings like cheeseburger baos. Adjacent to the Vietnamese fusion restaurant Stateside, it was known as one of Seattle's most unique nightlife destinations.
