Good Friends Club

Good Friends Club is an iconic cocktail bar in George Town's Taman Perak neighborhood, housed in a historic shophouse with a teal-door entrance and the signage "Good Friends Never Bojio" (meaning true friends never leave you out). Led by head bartender Kelvin Wong, the bar serves gastronomy-led cocktails inspired by Penang's kopitiam culture and local ingredients, such as Penang White Curry and Laksa Negroni. The atmosphere is unpretentious with an old-school Chinese kopitiam vibe, metal furniture, and sidewalk seating that attracts both locals and tourists. Operating hours are Monday, Wednesday–Thursday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM–1:00 AM, and Friday–Saturday from 7:00 PM–2:00 AM.
