KonTiki has operated as a Nuremberg institution since 1977 in the historic old town along the Pegnitz River, located in converted fishermen's houses at Untere Wörthstr. 10-14. The venue embraces full Polynesian theming with tiki masks, bamboo accents, and tropical décor that transport guests to a South Seas island atmosphere. The extensive menu features around 150 cocktails ranging from classic recipes to exotic creations, complemented by fresh Argentinean steak, fish specialties, burgers, and vegetarian options. Ambient island music and lighting enhance the immersive experience, while the bar remains closed Mondays and Tuesdays but welcomes diners Wednesday through Saturday until late hours.
