Lost Reef Lounge

Lost Reef Lounge is Chicago's first aquatic cocktail bar, located at 964 W. Belmont Avenue in Lakeview, offering a serene underwater-themed experience centered around eight saltwater aquariums containing over 2,500 gallons of exotic fish and coral. The 3,000-square-foot lounge seats 72 guests at 12 bar seats and throughout the space, creating an intimate yet spacious environment. Chef Raul Najar curates a food menu emphasizing raw fish preparations such as hamachi crudo, octopus ceviche, and pilsner-poached tiger shrimp, while beverage director Michael Abood oversees a cocktail menu featuring classic and signature cocktails alongside knot-tails for non-alcoholic options. Reservations are accepted up to 30 days in advance, with each new day becoming available at 10 AM.
