L'Univers Café Speakeasy is Nantes' oldest cocktail bar, operating since 1852 in the elegant Graslin quarter on rue Jean Jacques Rousseau. The venue features a menu of more than 60 cocktails and 50 whiskies from around the world, set within a dimly lit vintage atmosphere with comfortable leather and rattan furnishings and jazz-infused soundtracks. Notably, this historic establishment was the first venue in Europe to host live jazz, in February 1918, and continues to offer themed evenings, concerts, and piano-bar performances that enhance its storied ambiance.
