Melrose Umbrella Co.

Melrose Umbrella Co. is a post-Prohibition style bar located at 7465 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles's historic Melrose shopping district. Its name and logo pay homage to the eras when drinking establishments signaled the return of legal alcohol with umbrella symbols. The beautifully appointed space layers vintage design elements to create a "disheveled chic" aesthetic, part-saloon part-apothecary. Since 2013, this dimly lit watering hole has served distinctive cocktails made from housemade tinctures, syrups, and tonics, organized into five sections: bright and refreshing, greatest hits, tropical, spirit-forward, and house Old Fashioneds. The bar also features natural wines, non-alcoholic cocktails, and reasonably priced offerings.
