Momus

Momus is a minimalist cocktail bar in Madrid's Barrio de Chueca, opened in 2022, named after the Greek god of satire and mockery. Designed by artist Antonio Marco, the sleek space features three distinct areas: a raised bar 15 cm higher than standard for optimal viewing, marble tables with upholstered seating, and an English-style lounge area. The cocktail program uses geometric shapes to describe flavor profiles, including award-winning creations like Kingston Negroni with rum and pickled lime. The venue offers cocktails only—no beer, wine, or food—with non-alcoholic options available, creating a focused, sophisticated drinking experience.
