Monterrey Bar at The Standard Spa Miami Beach pays homage to the Monterrey Motel, which opened on Island Avenue in 1953 with architecture by Norman Giller. The intimate cocktail spot, seating just over 20 people, features a cool speakeasy aesthetic with Afromosia wood paneling, plush ocean-inspired carpeting, and an elegant Murano glass chandelier overhead. A beautiful T-shaped bar anchors the room with dim, sophisticated lighting and cozy couch seating. The menu celebrates unique twists on classic cocktails paired with elevated small plates such as roasted bone marrow and truffled tater tots, with prices ranging from $18 to $24.
