Outer Heaven

Outer Heaven is a bespoke cocktail lounge and microclub located at 191 Chrystie Street on the border of SoHo and Lower East Side in New York City, merging Japandi design with otaku culture. Founded by a collective including Jack Mulqueen and William Tigertt, the 140-capacity space designed by Montreal's Philip Hazan features two distinct environments: an intimate cocktail lounge with turntable and a micro dance club with DJ booth. The cocktail program centers on three pillars—Mezcal, Sake, and Orange Wine—crafted by Alex Smith with options spanning light florals to savory concoctions. A state-of-the-art sound system designed by Nicolas Matar rivals that of iconic venues like Cielo and Output.
