Pannuhuone Gust. Ranin occupies the atmospheric basement of a historic Bank of Finland building in Kuopio's city center, transformed from a 1912 caretaker's apartment into a distinctive bar concept since 2001. The venue specializes in original cocktails crafted with local ingredients, particularly featuring spirits and ingredients from Lignell & Piispanen, a Kuopio distillery known for its use of northern berries and herbs. The bar offers a full menu of snacks from its own kitchen, and during summer a popular terrace opens alongside the stone-walled interior.
