Papa Gede's

Papa Gede's is a lounge-style bar hidden in a former garage laneway off Kent Street in Sydney's CBD, inspired by voodoo culture and New Orleans aesthetics. Named after the Voodoo spirit of lust and good times, the venue features funk, soul, reggae, and New Orleans blues on its playlist. The bar specializes in absinthes, tiki, and New Orleans-style cocktails with drinks named after voodoo spells including the signature Zombie. Designed by owners Michael Dhinse and Lara Dignam, the intimate space welcomes both walk-in guests and groups of 6-12 with easy booking. Hours are Monday-Friday 4:00 pm–12:00 am and Saturday 5:00 pm–12:00 am.
