Planter’s Club Bar

Planter's Club in Vienna's first district represents a landmark in Austrian cocktail culture, having established itself over 25 years ago as the city's first American-style cocktail bar. Situated behind the Anantara Palais Hansen Hotel at Zelinkagasse 4, the bar showcases an interior designed like an English gentlemen's club. The establishment houses an internationally renowned collection of over 500 types of whisky, rum, gin, and cognac, alongside a repertoire of approximately 300 cocktails ranging from classics to house creations. A summer 2015 expansion added a spectacular wine cellar, and the bar has developed a reputation for cigar service, with accommodations for 30-40 cigar smokers and offerings including 16 imported varieties from Honduras and the Dominican Republic.
