ROOM 309 is an exclusive speakeasy located on the third floor of the Pottinger Hotel in Central, accessible only by acquiring a key card from the adjacent bar, The Envoy. Designed as a surrealist Victorian-era alchemist's den with dim candlelight and mysterious aesthetics, the bar features eight innovative 'invisible' cocktails made with colourless ingredients—including unconventional elements like peanut butter, salted egg yolk, and yoghurt—deliberately focusing on taste over visual presentation. Crafted by mixologist Antonio Lai, ROOM 309 offers one of Hong Kong's most unique and intimate cocktail experiences, combining theatrical ambiance with experimental mixology that challenges conventional bar culture.
