The Cumberland is an underground speakeasy in Manly's laneways, concealed behind a fridge door within a bodega-style deli. The intimate 75-seat basement showcases Spanish influences with ornate vintage furnishings, marble countertops, hand-carved sandstone, reclaimed timber, and antique brass accents. The bar stocks over 250 whiskies, natural wines, and craft beers, alongside prohibition classics and cocktails featuring locally foraged ingredients. Located at 17–19 Central Avenue, it operates Wednesday–Saturday 5pm–late and Sunday 4pm–10pm, named after the historic Parish of Manly Cove in the County of Cumberland.
