The Ready Room

The Ready Room, established in 2018 at 2626 White Oak in Houston's Woodland Heights, is a craft cocktail bar with deep roots in Houston's blues history, named in homage to the original Reddi Room from 1941. The space features vintage decor with wood-paneled walls, pressed-tin ceiling tiles, vintage chandeliers, and high-backed red leather barstools that evoke mid-century charm. The menu showcases vintage-inspired cocktails organized by sections honoring Houston's six historic wards, crafted with premium ingredients for distinctive sips. Bartender-curated playlists and live jazz, blues, R&B, and country performances on select nights complete the retro-luxe experience.
