The Spirits Library is a 1930s-themed drinking library located on Guerrero Street in Manila's Poblacion, opening in 2019 without street signage—entry is through a simple wooden door. The venue houses one of Asia's most extensive collections of rare bottles, vintage glassware, historic bar books, and curious antiques, with floor-to-ceiling vintage spirit cabinets and Art Deco walls. The bar reimagines historic cocktails from Charles H. Baker's 1939 travelogue The Gentleman's Companion through modern techniques. A spiral staircase leads to velvet seating beneath a vaulted ceiling, and the venue features live saxophone and jazz performances on select evenings, with reservations recommended.
