Willis Show Bar

Willis Show Bar is a historic live music venue and cocktail bar located at 4156 Third Avenue in Detroit's Cass Corridor, with roots dating back to its original opening in 1949 as a notable jazz club. The venue reopened in 2018 under new ownership by Los Angeles-based hospitality veterans and the Detroit Optimist Society, restoring the space to its original Art Moderne aesthetic. The main stage, uniquely positioned behind the bar, features live music performances, cabaret acts, and DJ entertainment. The establishment focuses exclusively on cocktails and beverages with no food menu. Note that the venue temporarily closed and was listed for sale as of late 2025.
